Our Instructors
Dillo Dynamics coursework is designed and instructed by Alan LaFrance and Travis Brown. We’re NRA Certified Handgun Instructors as well as active IDPA shooters. In addition, Dillo Dynamics has a DPS certified CHL Instructor on staff for those of you looking for concealed handgun classes. We’ve been in the firearms industry professionally for over 4 years now and run the biggest gun forum in Texas, Texas Gun Talk.
Travis Brown
Travis Brown is an NRA-certified Basic Pistol Instructor and Texas Concealed Handgun License Instructor that has been in the firearms industry professionally for over 4 years, and recreationally for the majority of his life. He also competes in local IDPA defensive pistol competitions. He is the owner and senior instructor for Dillo Dynamics, a central Texas firearms training company centered around defensive handgun and concealed handgun license training. In addition, he co-founded, runs and is an active contributor to Texas Gun Talk, the largest Texas firearms enthusiast forum on the internet. Travis has attended over 100 hours of professional training from the following training companies and instructors:
